I've been chipping away at a list of great Romanian writers for the cartoonist rights network in Bucharest.They have been compiling caricatures of literary icons for a few years now and the massive shows they put on are something I need to see in person one day. Lots of fine contributors from around the globe.
I've made new quick watercolours of Caragiale, a founding father of Romanian satire and Stanescu, a giant of late 20th century poetry. Both men are highly regarded by all walks of life in Romania.
It's fine practice to try and knock off likenesses of these gents.
