Here is a cartoon for this weekend in the Hamilton Spectator of the Mayoral race in Toronto. Smitherman coming on strong after everyone and their brother seemed to want to hand the race over to big bad Rob Ford.

JACK WHITE CARICATURE

Here is a picture of Jack White that I did last year but considered a bit iffy.
I like some of it but perhaps it looked a bit MJ-ish in the likeness department.
Not sure, any comments?

The Naughty Show

Had a grand time at the Naughty Show with the ribald works of the great Toronto painters Anita Kunz and Maurice Vellekoop. More!

Hamilton Spectator cartoon

A cartoon from the G20 silliness the other week that ran in the Hamilton Spectator.
Graeme MacKay is the very funny cartoonist from The Spectator and he was kind enough to get me on board for some contributing there.

Harper cartoon

This is a cartoon from last year of Harper when he did his live Beatles performing with YoYo Ma. The gist is how the PM has essentially skated through his term because there has been little impressive leadership from the opposition.

The secret farmers midnight dance is the title of the children's book I've illustrated for the great Neil Crone. I'll post the mock ups of the artwork here prior to final changes and printing. A very nice story about farm animals and our relationship with them.

Resistance!

Gilles Duceppe made some vintage comments on the weekend equating the Quebec struggle to that of the "Resistance". He claims it was not intended to compare their struggle with that of the Nazi fighters, but oh well, too late.
