Max Beckmann sketch



One of my all time fave degenerate artists, Max Beckmann was a prolific painter particularly during the Weimar Republic until the Nazi's notorious attacks on modern art began in the 30's. Over 500 of his paintings were confiscated by Hitler's cronies to be exhibited in the 1937 Munich Degenerate exhibit, then auctioned off or destroyed.
